The WWE Universe lost a legendary member today after Sika Anoa'i passed away. The father of Roman Reigns and Rosey has been honored by numerous wrestlers and personalities, including one key name who has been close to The Bloodline since its early days - Paul Heyman.
Sika of The Wild Samoans wrestled around the world beginning in 1973. He and his brother Afa held championship gold on 20 occasions, including three for WWE and three for Mid-South. Heyman has led The Bloodline of The Anoa'i Family to success for the past few years. His connection to the family goes back years as he began managing Sika's nephews in 1989 - Fatu, aka Rikishi and Samu, known as The Samoan SWAT Team in WCW. Later on, in 1996, Heyman, as the boss of the original ECW, hired The Samoan Gangster Party - Sika's son Matt Anoa'i, aka Rosey and Samu.
The Wise Man took to his Instagram Stories today to pay tribute to Sika. After re-posting the statement from The Tribal Chief, Heyman also shared WWE's graphic in memory of Sika Anoa'i.

Roman Reigns issues statement on Sika Anoa'i passing away
The leader of The Bloodline has paid tribute to his father, Sika Anoa'i.
Reigns has not been very active on social media since losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, but he sent a message following the passing of his father.
"My family and I thank everyone for the outpouring of support in the name of my father, Pola'ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i, who will forever be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team. My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the foundation he built for us. There’s no way to fill the void left by his passing but my sisters and I will do our best to represent him and his legacy. Rest in Power, Dad. We love you," Roman Reigns wrote.
The Wild Samoans made a special appearance at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020. After the "I Quit" match between then-Universal Champion Reigns and Jey Uso, Afa and Sika Anoa'i came to the stage to pose with Roman while The Usos looked on from the ring.
