WWE veteran Paul Heyman has shared a social media update reiterating a popular legend's bold claim regarding ECW and the Stamford-based company's Attitude Era. Over the years, The Wiseman has often spoken passionately about the wrestling promotion he was in charge of.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently took to Instagram stories to share an X/Twitter post of ECW legend Taz. While responding to a fan's tweet, the 57-year-old claimed there is no Attitude Era without Extreme Championship Wrestling. He stated that the Philadelphia-based wrestling promotion inspired the entire narrative of the industry during the time.

Paul Heyman reveals the real reason behind Solo Sikoa's Bloodline attacking him
Paul Heyman has been absent from WWE television for over four months. On the June 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Solo Sikoa, accompanied by his newly recruited stablemates, brutally attacked The Wiseman after he refused to acknowledge the 31-year-old as his Tribal Chief. Heyman has not made an appearance since.
While speaking to Sam Roberts during his appearance at Fanatics Fest, the veteran opened up about getting taken out by the new Bloodline. Heyman claimed the attack needed to happen as he was the last link to the original Bloodline.
"Well, they had to do that. That's the exclamation point of what they're doing. At some point, for Solo [Sikoa] to become The Tribal Chief, for Tama Tonga to become The Right Hand Man, for Jacob Fatu to become The Enforcer, you have to take out The Wiseman. I'm the last link to the original Bloodline," he said. [From 1:08 onwards]

Roman Reigns has recently rejoined forces with The Usos and Sami Zayn to set up a WarGames Match against the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline at Survivor Series. It will be interesting to see if The Wiseman will return to television ahead of the premium live event scheduled for November 30 to complete the OG Bloodline.
