JBL is widely regarded as one of the most versatile pro wrestlers in the history of the sport. The legend is currently enjoying a career revival outside of WWE, while still signed to the company as an Ambassador. The All-American college athlete is now going viral with a look at his impressive physique.

John Bradshaw Layfield debuted in 1992 at the age of 26 and made his name wrestling around North America, Japan, and various European countries. He joined WWE in late 1995 and has worked several gimmicks over the years. JBL recently began showing up at non-WWE wrestling events, targeting top stars and seemingly aligning with others, such as Nic Nemeth aka Dolph Ziggler.

The Wrestling God turned 58 at the end of November, right as he's enjoying a career resurgence with appearances for TNA, AAA, GCW, and MLW, among others. JBL recently revealed big plans in store for 2015, and now he's showing off an excellent physique as he goes about his surprise run.

The former WWE Champion took to X (fka Twitter) today with a gym selfie, and mentioned how he's had stem cell treatments, which is popular with wrestlers these days. Layfield also joked about his very serious Clothesline From Hell.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

"Stem cells have kicked in, which is great cause ancient Sumarian prophesy is 2025 is the year of the clothesline," Bradshaw wrote with the photo below.

Layfield's last official match on record was the 2014 Royal Rumble, which came five years after he was retired by Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 25. He was recently challenged by another veteran for a match in TNA.

JBL praises WWE Hall of Famer

John Bradshaw Layfield may be best known for his WWE Championship reign, but the Wrestling God also held the Hardcore Championship on 17 occasions. Justin Credible is one of the many superstars who JBL battled for the title.

The June 23, 2002 edition of WWE Sunday Night Heat saw Layfield retain the Hardcore Championship over Credible, with Miss Jacqueline as the special guest referee. A clip of the match made the rounds on X/Twitter this week, and JBL responded to praise the 2016 Hall of Famer, who recently signed a WWE Legends contract. He also praised Credible.

"Justin is awesome, loved working with him. However, I think he will agree-toughest person in that ring was Miss Jackie," Layfield wrote.

Bradshaw has the fourth-most reigns with WWE's Hardcore Championship. He ranks behind Stevie Richards at 21, Crash Holly at 22, and Raven in first with 26 reigns. Shawn Stasiak ranked fifth with 15 reigns.
