WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce recently shared a rare throwback picture across his social media platforms. The photo was from the APW King of Indies event in 2001.

It featured several future stars and wrestling legends. Among them were Pearce himself, a young AJ Styles, and Bryan Danielson. Other notable names, such as AEW stars Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels, could also be spotted in the nostalgic image.

"The path will take you to many places you never dreamed of on the way to where you belong. Take a piece of those destinations on your way and leave a piece of you behind. Embrace every twist and turn, peak and valley, door open and closed. And always walk with your head held high. You’re YOU 🙏," Pearce wrote.

Before joining WWE, Pearce was a full-time wrestler who made a significant name for himself on the independent circuit. He is best known for his time in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), where he notably held the prestigious NWA World Championship five times.

Adam Pearce recently teased an in-ring return against WWE official

Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis have excelled as the General Managers of RAW and SmackDown respectively. Their on-screen dynamic has been a highlight for fans, who have been clamoring for a potential match between the two.

During a recent Instagram livestream, Pearce addressed a fan question about whether he would return to in-ring action to face his SmackDown counterpart. He admitted that he had given the idea considerable thought. However, just as he seemed ready to give an answer, the stream hilariously ended, leaving fans in suspense.

"I've thought about it a lot, and I said I'd never angle for a match, and I won't. But if you are asking me to be honest, would I come back to active wrestling and face Nick Aldis? The short answer is..." said Pearce.
