A popular WWE duo reunited ahead of the upcoming episode of SmackDown in Canada. Tonight is the first edition of the blue brand following Bash in Berlin this past Saturday.

Natalya has been on hiatus since defeating Izzi Dame on the June 4 edition of SmackDown. She reportedly signed a new deal with WWE earlier this year. Ahead of tonight's edition of SmackDown, the veteran shared a photo with former WWE star, Beth Phoenix. The Glamazon departed the company earlier this year but was part of a popular tag team with the 42-year-old, known as the 'Divas of Doom' back in the day. Beth Phoenix is married to former WWE Superstar, Edge in real life, who exited the promotion last year and made his All Elite Wrestling debut at WrestleDream 2023. The Rated-R Superstar is currently out with a fractured tibia suffered at AEW Double or Nothing earlier this year.

Natalya wants Beth Phoenix to return to WWE for a full-time run

Natalya disclosed that she would like to see Beth Phoenix have one more full-time run with the company.

Ahead of Phoenix's departure from the Stamford-based promotion, Natalya shared that she wanted the veteran to return to the company on a full-time basis. In an interview with Ring the Belle in March, the 42-year-old noted that she was biased, but wanted Phoenix to have another run as a singles star.

"I also think, of course, I'm very biased, but I love her dearly. I think Beth Phoenix could come back and do a full run. Of course, I'm challenging Gail Kim to our singles match. Mickie James, Melina, Gail Kim, Michelle McCool, Layla. I love Alicia Fox, would love to see her do more. There's just so many women that really, It's like we were ready for the revolution before it was ready for us," said Natalya [H/T: Fightful]
