LA Knight has quickly become one of the most popular men on the WWE roster. His meteoric rise happened suddenly, and fans have been chanting his name wherever he goes. Despite a surge in popularity, Knight has still been unable to win a title on the main roster.
Hence, the LA Knight has been eager to challenge Logan Paul for the United States Championship. He even invaded the champ's home to get a title match. His attempts finally paid off when the match was made official at SummerSlam.

Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Logan Paul's homecoming celebration was ruined by LA Knight, who painted a banner he unveiled. Knight then came out and mocked the US Champion. He then said that he had a gift for Logan backstage to make up for defacing his banner.
He went backstage and found Logan's Prime car. This got the champ's attention, and he immediately ran after him. Knight got into the car and drove away as Logan tried to stop him.
