Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso are still champions

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, who were undefeated as a team so far.

The American Nightmare kicked things off against the Aussie superstar. After some back and forth, Cody tagged in Jey, while Theory tagged in Waller without the champion knowing. Austin Theory capitalized by hitting Jey Uso with a backbreaker, sending him out of the ring.

The former Bloodline member was cornered by the two heels, but he managed to fight back, only to be taken out quickly with a double-team move. He took down Grayson Waller, and made the hot tag to Cody Rhodes, while Waller tagged in Theory. Cody took down the former US Champion with stikes and lariats before hitting him with a powerslam.

Rhodes then nailed him with a Disaster Kick and did the same thing to Waller. Theory took down Cody with a modified neckbreaker and went for the cover, but Jey Uso broke up the pin. He nailed Grayson with a Superkick and did the same thing to the former's tag partner.

Jey and Cody planted Austin Theory with the 1D/Cody Cutter combination. In the end, Cody Rhodes hit Theory with the Cross Roads to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
