Chase U has been feuding with Ridge Holland ever since the latter betrayed them at NXT No Mercy 2024. Over the next few weeks, Ridge faced off against Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne in singles matches. He finally faced Andre Chase in an Ambulance Match at NXT Halloween Havoc and won.
However, Chase demanded a rematch against the former SmackDown star last week. Holland agreed to face him if he put Chase U on the line tonight on WWE NXT. Both men competed in a number one contender's match for the NXT Championship.
