Popular WWE faction under threat of getting disbanded soon

A popular WWE faction may soon get dissolved because of a big gamble played by its leader. Notably, he offered control of his faction to get a rematch with an opponent. However, this opponent, who is also a former member of the group, has demanded Andre Chase dissolve Chase University if he loses.

Ridge Holland had betrayed Chase U, declaring the stable incompetent after they lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Fraxiom within days of earning it. Holland then proceeded to pick out every member of his former faction, defeating and destroying all of them. Lastly, he beat the stable’s leader, Andre Chase, in an Ambulance Match at Halloween Havoc.

This week on WWE NXT, Trick Williams decided Dr. Chase should be the next man to challenge him for his title. However, he was interrupted by Ridge Holland, who had pinned him last week in a tag team match where he teamed up with Ethan Page to face the champ and Bully Ray.

Holland and Chase will duel each other next week to determine who stands a chance to challenge Trick. Moreover, Dr. Chase has also put his faction’s reins on the line if he loses. According to a recent graphic from WWE, Chase U will disband if Andre loses the match.

Andre Chase almost lost his WWE faction before

While Chase University members look up to Dr. Chase as a role model, he almost lost the faction once.

Notably, the kayfabe university had accumulated a lot of debt when Chase had almost gambled everything away. However, a piece of advice from Jacy Jayne saved the group when she suggested Dr. Chase sell calendars featuring the university's women.

While the calendar is still available on the WWE shop, Andre Chase will not have that option now. It would be interesting to see if he is able to avenge Holland's damage to his faction or if he will have to say goodbye to Thea Hail, Riley Osborne, and Duke Hudson.
