A popular WWE star recently discussed a traumatic accident she suffered alongside Kevin Owens earlier this month in Saudi Arabia. Owens is currently involved in a personal rivalry with Randy Orton and was also called out by Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes this past Friday on SmackDown.

Cathy Kelley and Kevin Owens were involved in a dune buggy accident in Saudi Arabia ahead of Crown Jewel 2024. In an interview on B4TheBell, the backstage interviewer revealed they were lucky not to be injured during the accident. Kelley noted that Owens' initial instincts were to protect her and added that the veteran had been one of her best friends for years.

"He's been one of my friends for years. I've had many conversations with him off camera. We just got into a kind of traumatizing accident when we were in Saudi Arabia when we were in a dune buggy. I kind of credit him for saving my life in that moment. We rolled three and a half times in a dune buggy. He said his initial instinct was to protect me. I was holding onto a safety rail, he was right behind me. We could have gotten much more banged up than we did. We were really lucky that we walked out of it relatively unscathed," Cathy Kelley said. Dutch Mantell suggests Kevin Owens could reignite rivalry with popular WWE star

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently suggested that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn could reignite their rivalry.

The two stars are great friends in real life but often portray mortal enemies on WWE television. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell noted that there was still life to the rivalry between Owens and Zayn. The legend added that the company hadn't worn out the feud yet, and wrestling fans remembered everything.

"Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, that's still got life in it. They can go back to that, they didn't wear it out. They cut it, really, a little bit short but they can always go back to that. That's what bookers are always looking forward to when they separate two guys. I've said this a thousand times on this show. Wrestling fans have long memories and they don't forget," Dutch Mantell said.

The Prizefighter attacked Rhodes following Bad Blood 2024. KO was upset with Cody for teaming with Roman Reigns. The former Universal Champion has dealt with The Bloodline for the last four years. In the following weeks, he attacked Randy Orton for taking the side of The American Nightmare.

Kevin Owens unleashed a heinous attack on Randy Orton on the November 8 edition of WWE SmackDown. Cody Rhodes stated that he wanted a match against the 40-year-old this past Friday night on the blue brand, but the blue brand's GM, Nick Aldis, claimed that the company was handling the matter internally.

Owens is set to appear on SmackDown next week for a face-to-face with Rhodes. It will also be interesting to see how KO reacts to his former tag team partner Sami Zayn joining forces with Roman Reigns.
