WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque has a handful of major players in the wrestling business signed to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2024. Then there are a few who could very well represent the company as its top stars in the coming years. One such name is WWE RAW's own Chad Gable.
During his sit-down interview with Chris Van Vliet recently, Gable disclosed that the new contract he signed with WWE in June was for three years:
"I just re-signed with the company for three more years. To extend my relationship with the company that has done so much for me, afford me things that I never thought I would be able to do, travel around the world and back 100 times it feels like. See things I never would have saw. meet people I never would have met, and just live a childhood dream, which so many people never get to do. How could I not be grateful for that?" Chad Gable said.
He also admitted his wrestling career will likely end in a decade, while adding that he has a good "mutually beneficial" relationship with WWE:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"To end my career, if you ask me, I have ten years left in me. I feel physically as good as I ever have. To be hitting a peak, I feel, of my career at this point is awesome. I'm excited for the future. [...] We've been mutually beneficial for each other. I love everything the company does." [From 1:09:24 onwards]
Gable also revealed a true story about what he told WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle two decades before they wrestled on the company's flagship show.
Triple H shares his honest thoughts on WWE Superstar Chad Gable
Chad Gable is riding high on a wave of momentum, despite emerging on the losing end of the spectrum on numerous occasions. Despite that, the spotlight was always on Gable, and he made the most of it.
From feuding with Gunther and Sami Zayn over the Intercontinental Championship to now forming a new faction dubbed American Made to take down The Wyatt Sicks, the 38-year-old is here to stay. During Clash at the Castle's post-show press conference, Triple H had this to say about Gable:
"He’s an amazing performer. [...] The environment has changed, and he is part of that change. To me, it would have been a shame...I would have been sad if he had been here all this time and he just went elsewhere, for whatever reason. [...] I’m thrilled he’s here. I’m thrilled he’s home, where he should be."
Among other topics he discussed, he articulated how much it means to him that he was chosen as the first rival for Bo Dallas upon The Wyatt Sicks' arrival.
