A popular WWE Superstar revealed a new nickname on social media today following a major loss. The veteran is part of a tag team on WWE SmackDown.
Grayson Waller of A-Town Down Under took to social media today following his tag team's loss to Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) this past Friday night on the blue brand. Despite the loss, Waller suggested that he and Austin Theory were better than MCMG. The Australian star also revealed a new nickname for his tag team, and you can check it out in the Instagram post below.
"Sydney City > Motor City," he wrote.
Grayson Waller and Austin Theory have been a tag team for a while on SmackDown. The duo captured the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania XL last year. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) won the title by defeating Motor City Machine Guns on the December 6, 2024, episode of the blue brand and are still the reigning champions.
WWE star Grayson Waller makes bold prediction about his career
Grason Waller recently made a bold prediction about his career in 2025 and suggested that A-Town Down Under had become too focused on being entertaining.
In an interview with The West Sport, the SmackDown star shared his goals for this year. He stated that people would be reminded of what he is capable of in 2025, and he plans to become a main eventer in the company.
"I think people are going to be reminded of who Grayson Waller is in 2025. I think that, you know, the last few months, me and Theory - maybe we took our eye off the ball, and, uh, maybe we were too focused on being entertaining and we weren't thinking enough about being dangerous. We look at the top of the card, and we see the guys who are there, and we know those are our spots. It's a situation of no one's going to hand them to us; we’ve got to take them," Waller stated.
