WWE Superstars are known to find more success with a re-packaging or a reboot of their character, which often comes after a devastating loss or unexpected swerve. One veteran pro wrestler suffered two major losses in one this week. The WWE Universe is now speculating on what's next after a concerning cryptic message.

Chase University is no more. Andre Chase and his most recent student, Ridge Holland, captured the NXT Tag Team Championship from Fraxiom in mid-August but lost them right back at No Mercy on September 1. Holland turned heel after the match, then defeated his former leader in an Ambulance Match at Halloween Havoc last month.

Wednesday's loaded NXT episode saw Ridge and Andre compete to become the new #1 contender, but if Chase lost, then his faction had to disband. Holland dominated the 12-minute main event and even dealt with Duke Hudson, Thea Hail, and Riley Osborne. As NXT Champion Trick Williams watched from ringside, Holland shut down Chase's comeback and nailed the Redeemer DDT for the pin to secure the title shot and the end of Chase University.

The former Harlem Bravado is fueling rumors about a potential character change now that Chase U is defunct. The near-17-year industry veteran took to X today and declared that he now has nothing. Chase then wondered how he could lead from this point.

"Maybe I can’t win the big one.. I was one second away from challenging for the #WWENXT Championship.. Now I have nothing. How can I lead when I feel so lost?" Andre Chase wrote with the photo below.

Chase signed with WWE in February 2021. He debuted that July, then formed Chase University in late September. The two-time NXT Tag Team Champion had reigns with Holland and Hudson.
