WWE Superstar LA Knight feels he is not as big of a star as Cody Rhodes. Both stars are part of the SmackDown roster.
Over the last year, Knight has steadily climbed up the ranks in WWE. His major push started with winning the Slim Jim 25-man Battle Royal last year at SummerSlam. Since then, he has been a part of the main event picture on the blue brand and is a prominent star on the current roster.
Knight spoke about his status during a new episode of Cody's new talk show, What Do You Wanna Talk About? The star mentioned he got noticed after top merchandise sales alongside Cody Rhodes last year. However, he felt he was still not at the same level as the Undisputed WWE Champion.
"There've been comparisons, and I think that only happened because of me busting out at the end of 2023 in the merchandise game where I was up there and doing all that. Then I was like, oh my God, wait a minute. Cody is doing all the merchandise numbers, now LA Knight's doing the merchandise numbers, but Cody's right there, and they keep switching back and forth. I think that kind of introduced that. I don't think, maybe I'm being overly humble at this point, I don't feel like people have put me on that same level if I'm honest." [From 19:25 - 20:05]
Cody Rhodes will face Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam
Since Roman Reigns left, Solo Sikoa has assumed the role of the Tribal Chief. Flanked by his new members, Solo has ensured The Bloodline maintains its dominance over the blue brand.
Last week, Cody Rhodes proposed a title match at SummerSlam against Solo to once again destroy The Bloodline as he did back at WrestleMania XL. However, after the announcement, the faction proceeded to annihilate Rhodes and Randy Orton on the show.
Later, WWE officially announced that The American Nightmare will be facing Sikoa at SummerSlam with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line. It would be interesting to see if Cody would survive the menace of this vicious faction at SummerSlam.
