WWE is set to present the 37th annual SummerSlam Premium Live Event in less than 3 weeks. The card is shaping up and superstars are on the hunt for the remaining spots. New information has just surfaced on a potential major spoiler.
World Wrestling Entertainment has three matches confirmed for SummerSlam so far - WWE Women's Champion Bayley vs. Nia Jax, Women's World Champion Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley, and World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest vs. Gunther. Two more blue brand bouts are set to be confirmed on Friday - United States Champion Logan Paul vs. LA Knight, and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa.
The Megastar has been chasing The Maverick and his championship for months. Nick Aldis has granted Knight a SummerSlam contract, but Paul must provide the John Hancock on the dotted line. Despite Logan's antics, he is now expected to lose the United States Championship.
Knight is currently the favorite to leave SummerSlam with the United States Championship. BetOnline has released odds for the highly-anticipated contest, and Knight [-1000 (1/10)] is strongly favored to defeat Paul [+550 (11/2)] in their first-ever match.

The Ultimate Influencer captured the United States Championship from Rey Mysterio on November 4 last year. He has made 2 title defenses since then - a Royal Rumble DQ win over Kevin Owens, then a WrestleMania XL Triple Threat win over KO and Randy Orton. Paul has had 4 additional non-title matches since Crown Jewel, including the Men's Elimination Chamber.
Logan Paul set for double WWE SmackDown taping
World Wrestling Entertainment will return to the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska this Friday for a double SmackDown event.
Friday's show will air on FOX with a slight tape delay, while the company will also tape the episode to air on July 26. Officials are taping the July 26 episode because they are scheduled to be in Tokyo, Japan that night with several top stars.
Roman Reigns is still heavily rumored to return soon, perhaps this Friday. WWE has announced the following lineup:
- Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
- Cody Rhodes will respond to The Bloodline
- Logan Paul returns to SmackDown following LA Knight's challenge
In addition to the announced lineup, the arena website has the following names scheduled for Friday - Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Bayley, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Jimmy Uso. While Uso has been rumored to return soon, this could be a sign that the venue has a dated lineup posted.
