Randy Orton hasn't been seen in quite a while, but he was recently caught breaking kayfabe amid his WWE hiatus. It even elicited a response from a former AEW star.

Brian Pillman Jr. worked in AEW for five years, between 2019 to 2023. Now signed to NXT and performing under the name Lexis King, he reacted to a picture on Instagram that saw The Viper break kayfabe.

The picture in question was a personal update from Randy Orton's wife, Kim Orton. It was a sweet Christmas Eve picture of the Orton family with Santa Claus, all under the Christmas tree.

Unlike many in the comment section, King decided to acknowledge the 20-time champion rather than spread Christmas cheer. The 31-year-old left a simple message expressing his excitement.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"The Legend," wrote Lexis King

The last time the WWE Universe saw the Legend Killer, he was on the receiving end of a piledriver from Kevin Owens. So, seeing him up and about and enjoying his Christmas is a nice treat.

The plan for Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41 may have already been revealed

As of now, the fans are eagerly awaiting Randy Orton's return. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that he will want to deal with Kevin Owens once he is back. However, he also needs to look ahead to WrestleMania 41. After all, The Viper would love to be involved in The Show of Shows.

The only question now is, what could be in store for him in Las Vegas? Well, Triple H and co. might have already decided what the 44-year-old will be doing. According to Xero News' official X/Twitter account, Orton could go head-to-head with his former arch-nemesis, John Cena. The report featured a detailed match card, including big-money matches for The Rock, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns.

However, the WWE Universe will keep an eye out for any hints suggesting an Orton-Cena bout. Why? Well, not only would the Stamford-based promotion be rehashing a legendary rivalry, but it will also hold a lot of significance, especially seeing as The Leader of the Cenation will be in the midst of his retirement tour.
