Randy Orton was left heartbroken after Kevin Owens attacked him on WWE SmackDown this weekend, but he's already formed a new team. The Viper used his new team to face The Bloodline, and he did it even without Cody Rhodes.

Now, the star has formed an alliance with DIY. Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens have been involved in a feud with The Bloodline for most of this year. However, The American Nightmare's decision to team up with Roman Reigns to face The Bloodline didn't sit well with Owens, who made it clear that he was unhappy with it. He attacked Rhodes after Bad Blood. On SmackDown, the two stars almost got into another brawl, but Orton intervened.

During the scramble, though, Orton, unhappy with an elbow Owens threw at him, punched him in the mouth. A visibly saddened Owens left the ring. Later, though, KO ambushed The Viper backstage and beat him down, leading to Nick Aldis calling for the doctors. This made clear that team R-KO was over, and the two stars were going to be parting company.

However, heading into the WWE Cardiff event, Randy Orton was in need of teammates to face The Bloodline. Facing Jacob Fatu, Tonga Loa, and Tama Tonga, he needed assistance, and that's what he got in DIY. Together with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, Orton proceeded to destroy The Bloodline.

While it was not easy, the three overcame the more experienced team to earn a big win in front of the Cardiff fans.

It remains to be seen if this team becomes a permanent feature.
