Randy Orton has had a handful of iconic WWE moments. Perhaps the biggest one to date could happen next if the company decides to open the forbidden door.
NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd made headlines recently as he called himself the new "Legend Killer," while simultaneously challenging Orton to a match at Wrestle Kingdom 19.
Speaking on WRESTHINGS, Kidd trash-talked The Viper. He made some bold statements regarding what would happen if the two were to ever step inside the squared circle together. Ultimately, he displayed a sense of urgency in wanting to face the veteran.
"I’ll say this right now, you want to talk about a real Forbidden Door, let’s open it. I’ll f*cking put this out there right now. Wrestle Kingdom 19, I want Randy Orton one on one. I’m saying that right now. He had a bit of beef with Will Ospreay back in the day, he didn’t do sh*t about it. Randy Orton, I want you one on one. You want to open the real Forbidden Door? I don’t give a f*ck about AEW. I’ll deal with them when I go there," said Kidd.

Gabe Kidd went on to boast about his recent exploits in dispatching Japanese legends such as Hiroshi Tanahashi and Shingo Takagi while telling Orton, "I am coming for your head." He also called himself the new "Legend Killer."
"I’ll deal with them at the official Forbidden Door. Wrestle Kingdom 19, I want Randy Orton. Look at me. I’m the Legend Killer now. I killed [Hiroshi] Tanahashi, I’m gonna kill off Shingo [Takagi], I’m gonna kill off all these Japanese legends, then I’m coming for your head. Don’t get it twisted, I will f*ck up Randy Orton," Kidd said.
The NJPW star is not the only one who called himself the new "Legend Killer" lately. WWE's Austin Theory voiced a similar sentiment. Furthermore, the current WWE Tag Team Champion added that he would not show any sympathy to the 14-time World Champion if the two locked horns down the line.
Randy Orton hopes to wrestle John Cena at WWE WrestleMania
A strong argument can be made that John Cena and Randy Orton are each other's biggest rivals in WWE. Despite having an iconic feud spanning many years, the duo never got to step into the ring on The Grandest Stage of Them All one-on-one.
The Viper candidly spoke about his real-life friend Cena recently, saying that it would be a dream if they could work something out for the biggest show of the year with the top prize of the company on the line.
"A dream match for me would be to somehow find myself in a situation where I'm fighting Cena, at WrestleMania, for the title," said Orton.
Meanwhile, yet another notable WWE name recently brought up Randy Orton as a dream opponent. The man in question is Ludwig Kaiser.
