WWE Superstar Randy Orton is an in-ring veteran and is highly respected in the locker room. However, The Viper also had a no-nonsense attitude back in the day, where he would not tolerate any mistakes inside the ring from his coworkers.

During the May 29, 2009 edition of RAW, the show's top stars were involved in a ten-man tag team match. During the encounter, Mr. Kennedy dropped Randy dangerously while hitting a belly-to-back suplex. The Viper was furious with the move and barely sold it. After a few days, Mr. Kennedy was let go from the company.

Former WWE star Stevie Richards broke down the spot on his podcast, The Stevie Richards Show. He detailed that Randy Orton must have thought about pushing for Mr. Kennedy's firing after taking the bump. Stevie pointed out that John Cena also had problems with the star, and it was an easy decision for Mr. McMahon and higher management to let go of Kennedy.

"It's a very confusing bump. I don't think Randy, like basically already 99.9% was saying after this match, in his mind, he's saying, this jerk. We're getting rid of him. I think Cena had an issue with Ken too. Right here, they're watching at Gorilla saying hmmm, you know what I mean. Looking at each other, maybe shaking their head or tilting their head, he's done." Randy Orton will face Kevin Owens at Crown Jewel

This past week on SmackDown, Randy Orton called out Triple H during the show's opening segment. He asked Hunter to arrange a match between him and Kevin Owens.

The Chief Content Officer was hesitant and mentioned that he had spoken to KO. Triple H detailed that Owens was a deranged man, and it wasn't safe for Randy to step into the ring against the former Universal Champion after his bad back had kept him out of action for over a year.

Randy Orton made it clear that he did not need protection and goaded Triple H into making the match. The two stars will now face each other at Crown Jewel next week.
