Ronda Rousey opens up about the possibility of her WWE return
Ronda Rousey has been vocal about her experience working for the Stamford-based company. She recently opened up about the possibility of a potential return to the company under the new regime.
In a conversation with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone, Rousey claimed that it felt good having fans speculate about her return. The former Women's Tag Team Champion mentioned that her previous stint in the promotion was a negative experience due to Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, and John Laurinaitis.
She further noted that she is not overly excited to get back into the squared circle.
"I feel like it is a good thing. I guess it means that I am missed if people still to this day ask me if I am going to be fighting or going to be wrestling. But my last run, just with Vince [McMahon], Bruce [Prichard], and John Laurinaitis, just was such a negative experience. Most of them are gone. Bruce's little sh** a** is still around, but I'm just not overly excited to come back," she said. [From 00:01 - 00:30]
Rousey competed on the independent wrestling scene for a few matches after leaving WWE. She teamed up with Marina Shafir to defeat Athena and Billie Starkz in Ring of Honor last November in her last in-ring appearance.
