WWE is officially on Netflix, and the red brand's historic run on the USA Network is over. The first episode of RAW is expected to add much excitement on the Road to WrestleMania, with a stacked match card already in place. Since the announcement of the deal with Netflix, anticipation over WWE changing their ratings has been at an all-time high. Grayson Waller recently commented on whether the ratings will remain the same.

However, on Netflix Media Day last month, Triple H and Nick Khan clarified that the Stamford-based company would continue to produce family-friendly content. This announcement caused some in the WWE Universe to be disappointed.

During a recent interview on The West Sport, Grayson Waller commented on the ratings debate following the move. The 34-year-old explained that the company's major goal was to attract everyone without restrictions. Triple H and other top executives wanted the show to be family-friendly, except for a few situations when the "gloves are off."

"We are a family product, and as much as we like to push the envelope at times, you know, we do it at times only when it's necessary. Even though we're on Netflix, and maybe people think that, you know, the gloves are off, and we can say what we want, at the end of the day, we still want families to come to the show. We still want you to bring your son, your daughter. So, Grayson Waller is going to say some mean things, but he's going to be very careful about what he says," stated Waller. [1:32 onwards]

The Rock might ignore the ratings following his return to WWE

While WWE has managed to maintain its program rating with all its storylines, the Road to WrestleMania last year featured some surprises.

During the build to the massive main event for both nights of the Grandest Stage of them All, The Rock broke all the program ratings to build his 'Final Boss' character.

As a member of the TKO Board of Directors, The Rock may continue to ignore the TV ratings following his return.

This would potentially make many headlines worldwide, with The Final Boss continuing to exercise his powers. Time will tell what happens when The Rock returns to the Stamford-based company.
