WWE Bash in Berlin had its share of highs and lows, but some vocal criticism has made its way into the mainstream audience. However, Bill Apter believes these are not very meaningful.

As with most WWE PLEs, Bash in Berlin featured a stacked card of matches with several titles on the line. Major names like Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton were in action, among others. While most matches were near-perfect in their in-ring work, some botches were hard to miss.

Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter shared his thoughts on the event.

"Oh, I loved it. I thought it was one of their best pay-per-views. The smart fans out there are gonna go, 'Ooh, there were some blown spots in the girls' match.' There was, but you know what? There are people who say that pro wrestling is dead, it's all entertainment now. And you know we have said it on the show here," the veteran said. [1:08 onwards]

Teddy Long was impressed by Randy Orton's performance at WWE Bash in Berlin

Despite some criticism about Bash in Berlin, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long also enjoyed most matches. He was particularly impressed by the World Heavyweight Championship match between Randy Orton and Gunther.

On the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long stated:

"Bill was speaking about Randy there, you know; God bless him, man. Outstanding job in the ring with Gunther. I am sure Gunther learned a lot there working with Randy. And you know, also gotta let the people know Randy Orton is not selfish. He is a guy, and he knows how to do business. And Randy Orton certainly did business in Berlin," the WWE Hall of Famer said. As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for Randy Orton after his defeat at Bash in Berlin.
