WWE has made several significant talent acquisitions in 2024 so far. Fans are still waiting for some of these notable stars to debut, and now one newsmaker is set to make an announcement this week.

Giulia has been in the news since before her appearances during WrestleMania XL Weekend. After returning to Japan to help launch the Dream Star Fighting Marigold promotion, the 30-year-old underwent surgery to repair a hand fracture suffered in the promotion's debut event. Giulia returned to the ring earlier this month, losing to Sareee in a match to crown the inaugural Marigold World Champion.

The Gladiator of Glorias is currently finishing up her Marigold dates in Japan in preparation of the move to the United States for World Wrestling Entertainment. Giulia took to X today to reveal that she will be making an announcement at the legendary Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

"We have an announcement to make to everyone at Korakuen Hall! Let me say it with my own mouth and look into your faces. #pw_mg," Giulia wrote with the photo below, via Google Translate.

Giulia's teaser has led to increased fan excitement and speculation on her eventual debut. In addition to the match with Sareee earlier this month, The Dangerous Queen has worked two other bouts since returning to the ring. She teamed with Kizuna Tanaka and Victoria Yuzuki for a loss to Sareee, Miku Aono, and Natsumi Showzuki on July 21. The following day, she teamed with Mai Sakurai for a loss to MIRAI and Utami Hayashishita.

WWE officials reportedly planning big push for Giulia

World Wrestling Entertainment has reportedly signed international star Giulia after interest from top officials. The 30-year-old was allowed to return to Japan to help longtime Stardom promoter Rossy Ogawa launch Dream Star Fighting Marigold, which is expected to have a working relationship with WWE.

Giulia being able to work with Marigold was reportedly a sticking point in her WWE negotiations, according to Fightful Select. Sources add that officials have plans to present the five-time Stardom champion as the new face of the NXT women's division as soon as she arrives.

There's a feeling within NXT that The Beautiful Madness will surpass what Asuka achieved during her run on the brand. The Empress of Tomorrow still holds the record for the longest single reign with the NXT Women's Championship at 522 days.
