Damian Priest successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle. However, a wrestling veteran believes he will drop the title to a recently returned superstar at Money in the Bank.

The wrestler in question is none other than Seth Rollins. After nearly two months of absence due to injury, the Visionary returned last Monday on RAW to have a face-off with Priest. The Judgment Day member offered the former champion a shot at the World Heavyweight Title at Money in the Bank, which the latter accepted.

On the Rebooked podcast, wrestling veteran Matthew Rehwoldt (fka Aiden English) predicted that Rollins would walk out of the premium live event with the belt. The current TNA color commentator pointed out that Priest has seemingly undergone a significant character change, showing "a lot of babyface flashes":

"I believe at Money in the Bank, because the other thing that's been simultaneously happening with this Damian Priest championship reign is we've been getting a lot of babyface flashes. He's been holding The Judgment Day back, like, from beatdowns at points and he's been getting a lot of those little like, 'I can do this on my own,' or like, 'No, that's not how we do this.' He's trying to be honorable and stuff like that. So, I think we're gonna move towards that," he said.

The former WWE star then predicted that Rollins would dethrone Priest at Money in the Bank, leading The Judgment Day to turn on the 41-year-old after viewing his defeat as a failure:

"I think Seth Rollins is going to win the title at Money in the Bank. I think that would be seen as a failure by The Judgment Day. I think they will turn on him," he added. [52:56 - 53:34]

WWE legend thinks Gunther will be the one to dethrone Damian Priest

At King and Queen of the Ring, Gunther defeated Randy Orton to win the King of the Ring tournament and earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.

On the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray praised The Ring General, stating that he restored prestige to the Intercontinental Championship during his historic 666-day reign. Meanwhile, he predicted that The Ring General would be the one to dethrone Damian Priest at The Biggest Party of the Summer:

"Now, [with] the WWE [World Heavyweight] Championship being on Priest, I think Damian Priest is doing a really good job as champion, I just think it's muddy and a little blurry because he's so still involved with the Judgment Day. I don't feel like he's been presented as a real singles champion. I think they did what they did with him and put the championship on him for the long-term booking of where they want to get with Gunther," he added. [H/T: WrestlingInc.]

WWE Analyst Sam Roberts has also discussed the possibility of Finn Balor dethroning Priest at SummerSlam on his Notsam Wrestling podcast. It would be interesting to see who will be the one to end the 41-year-old's World Heavyweight Championship reign.
