The August 5, 2024 episode of WWE RAW saw the in-ring debut of The Wyatt Sicks. The eerie faction paid several haunting visits to Chad Gable before finally fighting him and The Creed Brothers on equal footing.
Interestingly, a released star from the Stamford-based promotion reacted to the great performance put up by one of The Wyatt Sicks’ members. Dijak was drafted to RAW earlier this year but was later released at the beginning of July before he could make his presence felt on the brand. However, he was thrilled by the work of Joe Gacy, who has now joined hands with Uncle Howdy as Huskus The Pig Boy. Taking to X, the former WWE star reacted to Gacy’s new gimmick.
“Couldn’t possibly be happier for @JoeGacy. No matter how hard I tried, you can’t lock down such an exceptional level of talent,” wrote Dijak.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Notably, this week’s VHS tape delivered by Abby The Witch showcased a clip of Joe Gacy without his mask. Uncle Howdy could be heard in the background saying that he freed Huskus, who was locked away somewhere, and the final seconds of the clips showed him screaming “Let us in!”
Joe Gacy’s new character marked his first in-ring appearance in Baltimore, the same venue where The Wyatt Family made its WWE debut. To top this, he even played an important role in getting the faction its first victory on RAW.
The Wyatt Sicks crush a new WWE faction
After a fallout with The Alpha Academy, Chad Gable joined hands with The Creed Brothers, Julius and Brutus Creed. Uniting the trio, the Olympian named this new group ‘American Made.’ Thus, this week’s episode of RAW saw two new factions make their debuts against each other. However, The Wyatt Sicks emerged victorious in the end.
Gable and his faction initially had the upper hand and targeted Joe Gacy. The Pig Boy wasn’t allowed to tag out of the match while all three members of American Made kept weakening him. But, things later turned around as Gacy had soaked all the damage, leaving Erick Rowan fully charged to blow up in the face of his opponents.
Unleashing the Rambling Rabbit character, Rowan made quick work of everyone. He also paid tribute to his departed teammate Luke Harper (Brodie Lee) during the match by using his signature 'Yeah Yeah Yeah!' taunt.
Eventually, Gable was pinned for the three count and The Wyatt Sicks picked up its first WWE win with Uncle Howdy and Abby The Witch at ringside. It would be interesting to see if the eerie faction is done with Gable, and will the members find a new WWE Superstar to target.
