A released WWE Superstar has now officially become a free agent ahead of the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown. He took to social media to share a bold message after his 90-day non-compete clause came to an end.
Jinder Mahal was let go by World Wrestling Entertainment on April 19, 2024, due to budget cuts. The Modern Day Maharaja had a great start to the year as he came face-to-face with The Rock and later competed for the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins on RAW.
The former Indus Sher member will now perform under the ring name "Raj Dhesi," and is set to make his Black Label Pro debut against Kevin Ku on Friday, July 26. Mahal will be in action as he will team up with AEW's Satnam Singh at AAA's TripleManía XXXII on August 17.
As of today, July 18th, Jinder Mahal is no longer bound by WWE's 90-day non-compete clause. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce his official departure from the Stamford-based promotion with a seven-word message.

Jinder Mahal comments on Drew McIntyre's current WWE run
The former United States Champion appreciated Drew McIntyre's latest stint in the Stamford-based promotion. The two men were a part of the 3MB faction alongside Heath Slater from 2012 and 2014.
On INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Jinder Mahal spoke highly of The Scottish Warrior's chase for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Modern Day Maharaja also pointed out one similarity between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk.
"I became WWE Champion before Drew McIntyre, don’t you forget that [laughs]. Drew's the man. What Drew is doing right now is incredible. This is the best version of Drew," Mahal said. "I just don't think he cares anymore, and that's usually when the best comes out. Like CM Punk, he doesn't care about anything, and that's why he's the best," he added.
