The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will square off at Crown Jewel if the latter retains his title against Sami Zayn on RAW this Monday. A WWE analyst now believes the result of that match is seemingly certain after Kevin Owens's turn on The American Nightmare.

Last night at Bad Blood, Chief Content Officer Triple H announced that the two world champions will collide next month at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel Championship. After the show, Owens surprisingly attacked Rhodes in the parking lot to turn heel. Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts predicted that The Prizefighter's betrayal of The American Nightmare would play a deciding factor in Cody' potential clash with Gunther.

The 41-year-old claimed Owens would cost Rhodes against the World Heavyweight Champion at Crown Jewel, leading to former friends squaring off at Survivor Series: WarGames.

"So, for sure Gunther's winning that big giant title. Kevin Owens is going interfere, and then yeah, that leads us to KO vs. Cody at Survivor Series," he said. [From 51:46 to 51:57]

Matt Morgan slammed WWE for major mistake with Kevin Owens

On the Gigantic Pop podcast, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan addressed Kevin Owens' betrayal and attack on Cody Rhodes after Bad Blood went off the air. He slammed the Stamford-based company for missing the mark on Owens' heel turn.

The TNA legend claimed it now makes no sense following The Rock and Roman Reigns' return. Morgan warned WWE Creative that having Rhodes in a storyline with The Prizefighter would drag The American Nightmare down:

"No, they missed, no, no, no, no, no, don't babyface this folks. They missed the mark. They had the mark three weeks ago when it would have been at its height, where it would have made sense, and it would have mattered. I don't want a butter-knife stabbing after a gunshot that we just had hit tonight with The Rock and Roman. No offense to KO, he's not on their level and it's gonna drag Cody down," he said.

Rhodes previously defeated Owens at WWE Bash in Berlin. It would be interesting to see if they will square off again in the upcoming weeks.
