WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre suffered a loss against CM Punk at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. The Scottish Warrior recently shared a social media update to reflect on his brutal encounter with The Second City Saint.
The two arch-rivals locked horns in a Hell in a Cell match to kick off the PLE. The contest, which saw both the competitors bust each other open, ended with CM Punk flattening his opponent with a GTS using a chain wrapped around his knee to secure the win and seemingly culminate the feud that started over eight months ago.
Drew McIntyre recently took to his Instagram account to share multiple pictures of himself wearing the crimson mask in blood during the match. The former WWE Champion reportedly needed sixteen staples to his head after getting hit by a toolbox.
"I saw red," McIntyre wrote.

Drew Mcintyre reveals why he left the arena at last year's WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
Drew McIntyre recently opened up about him leaving the arena after of CM Punk's return to the Stamford-based promotion at last year's Survivor Series: WarGames. The Second City Saint made his first WWE appearance after a decade.
Speaking on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast, McIntyre claimed he was angry with Punk's return. The 39-year-old added he stormed off to avoid any drama. The Scottish Warrior stated that he would have punched the former WWE Champion in the face had he stayed.
"Yeah, I was pi**ed off, and I chose to leave the arena because I'm not going to cause an incident that's going to affect everybody's mood afterwards and the guys in the match that worked so hard. People asked me about Seth's and my reaction; maybe that was Seth’s legit reaction, but to me, I couldn't have stood out there if somebody's that close to me that I don't like that much. I wouldn't stand and swear and have people hold me back. I would have walked right up to him and punched him in the face, so I chose to leave the building," McIntyre said.

It remains to be seen what lies ahead for McIntyre after losing his last two matches to CM Punk. The Best in The World, on the other hand, had previously teased going after the World Heavyweight Championship.
