Rhea Ripley comments on Dominik Mysterio's serious "daddy issues"

WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley recently commented on the well-publicized conflict between Dominik Mysterio and his legendary father, Rey Mysterio. She revealed whether Rey is a "deadbeat dad" or if Dominik is the source of all the problems.

The former NXT North American Champion turned his back on Rey Mysterio at the 2022 Clash at the Castle to join forces with The Judgment Day. Since then, the father-son duo has faced each other in two singles matches, both of which the Hall of Famer has won.

It wasn't until the July 8, 2024 episode of Monday Night RAW that Dirty Dom finally defeated his father. He teamed up with Liv Morgan in a Mixed Tag Team match to achieve this victory over LWO's Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio.

Meanwhile, The Eradicator was also betrayed by Dominik at SummerSlam 2024 when he aided The Miracle Kid in retaining the Women's World Championship and subsequently shared a romantic moment with her.

While speaking to Justin Dhillon on The Wrestling Classic show, Rhea Ripley criticized Dominik Mysterio for his obsession with being called "Daddy," by Liv Morgan, suggesting that this behavior indicates underlying family issues.

"You can tell a man has daddy issues when he gets so excited about getting called 'Daddy.' Like he's (Dominik) got family issues, let's be honest because now he's saying that, 'I made him call me Mami,' and he never liked calling me Mami. You got problems my dude because you came up with that by yourself. I didn't make you do c**p," she said. [From 03:59 to 04:21]

Rhea Ripley set for a WWE title match at Bad Blood

Despite The Nightmare's valiant effort, she fell short of winning the Women's World Championship at The Biggest Party of the Summer due to Dirty Dom's cruel plan. However, at Bash in Berlin, the Terror Twins (Ripley and Damian Priest) exacted revenge on Daddy Dom and The Miracle Kid, defeating them in a dominant performance at the premium live event.

At the upcoming Bad Blood PLE on October 5, 2024, Liv Morgan will defend her WWE Women's World Title against Rhea Ripley. The Eradicator is aiming to regain her championship, which she never lost.
