Rhea Ripley is undoubtedly one of WWE's most popular superstars today. On social media, reels and TikToks of her get more engagement than anyone else. She got a surprising chant from fans on RAW.
RAW in Austin, Texas, opened with Rhea Ripley addressing Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and The New Judgment Day which she's not a part of. She took a dig at Dominik Mysterio by saying "it just wasn't deep enough."
What was surprising, however, is that Rhea Ripley got audible "What?" chants during her promo. This is a bit surprising since she's a babyface. While no non-geo-restricted video shows the chant, there are enough posts on X/Twitter where fans recognize the chant taking place.
It's a bit odd that fans would give Ripley of all superstars the "What" chants. It's normally reserved for superstars who fans aren't as big a fan of. But we've also seen in the past that babyfaces get hit by the "What" chant if there are too many breaks between their promos.
More often than not, superstars have had to come up with clever responses to these chants. However, only heels can get away with insulting the crowds as a response.
It didn't really matter in the end as Ripley would get some revenge on The New Judgment Day once again.
