Rhea Ripley has confirmed that pro wrestling is full of drama, whether it's on-screen in the storylines or backstage in the locker room. In recent years, AEW has had the All Out 2022 debacle, while several top WWE Superstars got into it after RAW in July 2023. Ripley has just exposed the behind-the-scenes drama when offering advice to a young fan who is training to be a wrestler.
The Eradicator is fortunate to have no direct links to major scandals or backstage incidents in her 10-year career. Ripley did lose a championship belt in 2021, but that's about as bad as it gets for the inaugural NXT UK Women's Champion. The fan-favorite looks to be close, real-life friends with many of her co-workers, which is evident by her social media activity.
Ripley and her husband, Buddy Matthews, recently hosted a live stream on Instagram, where they shocked fans by allowing a few of them to join the feed. A young fan revealed that she is training to be a wrestler someday and asked Ripley for her advice. The Aussie Superstar surprisingly opened up on behind-the-scenes drama.
"Remember to stay out of the bulls**t in wrestling. There's drama everywhere, people that want you to fail, always something going on. The biggest advice I could probably give is... just don't get sucked into it. You know you and the route you want to take, make sure you stick to that, ignore everything else. People will try and 'help' you but they're really trying to drag you down so you don't do better than them. Stay out of all that stuff, go to training, put your head down, learn, do the shows, take a bit of criticism here and there, but obviously [not everything] because people contradict each other. Do what is best for you," Rhea Ripley said.

Rhea Ripley began her wrestling career in 2013 and then signed with WWE in 2017. The 2023 Royal Rumble winner is the company's seventh Women's Triple Crown Champion and its fifth Women's Grand Slam Champion.
WWE previews Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan
Rhea Ripley is hoping to become a two-time Women's World Champion in less than one month. She will challenge Liv Morgan for the title at the Bad Blood PLE, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, in Atlanta.
WWE is teasing that the Ripley vs. Morgan feud will finally come to an end at Bad Blood. The official match preview reiterates how The Eradicator never lost the title, as she was forced to relinquish it earlier this year due to injury.
"Rhea Ripley will look to inflict punishment on the woman that destroyed her life, as well as take back the title she never lost. Can Ripley end the reign of Liv Morgan and once again reach the top of the Raw Women’s division?" reads the match preview.
Dominik Mysterio is advertised to be at ringside with Morgan at Bad Blood. It remains to be seen if Damian Priest will be at ringside to support Ripley, as he is booked to face Finn Balor in singles action that night.
