Rhea Ripley reacts to being part of major franchise crossover

Rhea Ripley is one of the faces of WWE's latest partnership. The company has landed another major crossover, but this time they have gone outside of the pro wrestling world. Ripley is now reacting with a braggadocious statement.

WWE has partnered with one of the biggest video game franchises - Call of Duty. Season 5 of Modern Warfare 3 is set to feature a limited-time game mode called Slam Deathmatch. The mode features Ripley, Cody Rhodes, and Rey Mysterio as operators, and players will be able to perform wrestling moves on their enemies. The moves will earn points, and the team with the highest score at the end of the match will be declared the winner.

The franchise touted that WWE is bringing its best to the ring in Call of Duty, starting Wednesday, July 24. The WWE trio are unlockable operators in the Season 5 Battle Pass, which is part of a larger WWE - COD crossover. The official COD account on X shared screenshots of the action today, and The Eradicator responded with a boastful statement:

"Mami is ALWAYS on TOP [red blood drop emoji] [water pistol emoji]," Rhea Ripley wrote.

Ripley also shared the new Call of Duty trailer, which features the Judgment Day member in action with others. She captioned the share with the same red blood drop emoji.

The Judgment Day's Mami made her video game debut in WWE 2K20 and then appeared in WWE 2K Battlegrounds, WWE 2K22, and WWE 2K23. Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair were the cover Superstars for the deluxe edition of WWE 2K24, released earlier this year.

Rhea Ripley confirmed for WWE SummerSlam

Rhea Ripley will get the chance to regain her Women's World Championship at WWE SummerSlam. Officials have confirmed Ripley vs. Liv Morgan for The Biggest Event of The Summer.

The Eradicator was forced to relinquish the title due to a shoulder injury in April, not long after retaining over Becky Lynch at WrestleMania XL. Morgan won the title while Ripley was gone, and she tried taking Dominik Mysterio as well.

Ripley returned to RAW two weeks ago to confront Liv and Dirty Dom. She issued a challenge on this week's RAW, and WWE confirmed the match today. Mysterio is expected to be at ringside after Liv said she hopes he will be there.

The 37th annual SummerSlam PLE is scheduled for Saturday, August 3 from Browns Stadium in Cleveland. The other two confirmed matches are Women's Champion Bayley vs. Nia Jax and World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest vs. Gunther.
