Rhea Ripley is seen as the standard-bearer of the WWE women's division. Her husband and AEW star, Buddy Matthews, recently revealed how long Mami has left in the ring.
The Eradicator has risen through the ranks since arriving in the Stamford-based promotion. From winning the NXT Women's Title to holding the WWE Women's World Championship for a record-setting 380 days, Ripley has cemented her legacy as one of the best female wrestlers ever to step foot in the squared circle.
During a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, Buddy Matthews said Rhea Ripley, at 27, has at least another 10 years left in her, assuming she stays in the sports entertainment juggernaut:
"Rhea is 27 years old. So she’s got another 10 years to go, plus. So, you can listen to the audiences, you can hear the responses that she’s getting and I ask her all the time, I say, ‘You do A, B and C.’ She goes, ‘Do I?’ She doesn’t even know what she’s doing. She’s just being her. She’s 100 percent authentic to being herself and having fun and when you’re having fun, it comes through the TV. So, yeah, she could be the greatest to ever do it, in my opinion," Matthews said.
What's next for Rhea Ripley?
Rhea Ripley is in the midst of a deeply personal feud with Liv Morgan, who stole Dominik Mysterio from her.
"Dirty" Dom cost Mami a chance to regain the WWE Women's World Championship at SummerSlam. However, Mysterio won't get the opportunity to do the same come Bad Blood on October 5.
As announced earlier this week, Dominik Mysterio will be suspended above the ring in a "Shark Cage" for the Women's World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley.
Meanwhile, Damian Priest will have a grudge match against Finn Balor, who cost him the title at The Biggest Party of the Summer this year. Will the Terror Twins emerge victorious in their respective bouts? Only time will tell.
