Rhea Ripley made her triumphant return to Monday Night RAW and declared war. After being relatively silent on social media, she posted a photo with the code "Buddy" and her husband Buddy Matthews responded.

Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews have been together for a while now, forming one of wrestling's biggest power couples. Buddy is over in AEW doing a great job, while Ripley remains one of WWE's top stars and looks dead set on revenge against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

After RAW, Rhea Ripley posted a photo on her Instagram story of some merchandise on sale and gave a discount code "Buddy" - referencing her husband, Buddy Matthews.

In response, Buddy Matthews reposted her story saying, "S**ts getting real."

Rhea Ripley had a big appearance change on her RAW return

It looks like the former Women's World Champion wasn't intended to be out for a long time. There seemed to be speculation that Bayley would take one of the spots at WarGames, but Iyo Sky on RAW and the returning Ripley would occupy those two positions instead.

In an appearance change, wearing a mask similar to that of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus in the past, Ripley stormed to the ring and simply declared "WarGames" before headbutting Liv Morgan. While the Champion thought she outnumbered Bianca Belair's team by 5-to-4, Ripley's return sent shockwaves as she was only expected to return by January.

The assumption was that she would be back on time for the Royal Rumble to continue her feud with Liv Morgan, but that appears not to be the case. Either way, Iyo Sky is currently the #1 contender for Liv Morgan's title, and it's going to be interesting to see how it plays out.

We assume that the Women's World Title match will happen post-Survivor Series.
