Rhea Ripley sends a very emotional message to Buddy Matthews, aka Buddy Murphy

Rhea Ripley has found herself in multiple romantic storylines in WWE, but the star decided to send an emotional message to her real-life husband, Buddy Murphy. Murphy and Ripley married earlier this year in June.

Currently, Ripley is involved in a storyline feuding with Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and the rest of the Judgment Day alongside Damian Priest. WWE has also quietly involved her in a romantic story with the new Intercontinental Champion, Jey Uso. While nothing is official on that front, the two have been flirting for quite some time and have come out to support each other as well.

Earlier today, Rhea Ripley sent out a post for Buddy Murphy, where she was emotional about how important the star was to her. She wished him a happy birthday and also said that she was very lucky to call him her husband, as well as being able to grow into old souls together.

The two stars started to date two years back in 2022. They became public with their relationship then.

In August 2023, Ripley and Murphy got engaged, posting about it on Instagram. In June of this year, the two tied the knot.

Both stars have been very public about their relationship, regularly posting pictures together on social media despite Ripley being in storyline relationships on WWE TV. Her equation with Dominik Mysterio on TV was extremely popular, but the separation between real life and kayfabe was quite clear for both stars.

It remains to be seen if Murphy ever returns to WWE to actually start an on-screen story together with Rhea Ripley.
