Bobby Lashley and MVP are reportedly on the verge of departing WWE. Another superstar who has seemingly left the company is Ricochet. On Twitter/X, he sent a message to Cedric Alexander.
Alexander was a member of The Hurt Business, which was formed in 2020 and led by Lashley and MVP. The group also consisted of Shelton Benjamin, who was released by the Stamford-based company in 2023.
On Twitter/X, Alexander paid tribute to his former stablemates. His tweet caught Ricochet's attention, as the former Intercontinental Champion sent a five-word message.
"Man I hated yall! Hahaha," wrote Ricochet.
On June 10, the 35-year-old superstar made his last appearance when he assisted Ilja Dragunov in fighting off Bron Breakker following their match on Monday Night RAW. Later the same night, The One and Only was attacked by Breakker in the parking lot before being taken away in an ambulance.
Shortly after, it was reported that his contract had expired. His profile has been moved to the company's alumni section.
Tommy Dreamer believes Ricochet will transition from WWE to AEW
Tommy Dreamer has predicted Ricochet will sign with AEW after his rumored departure from WWE.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, Dreamer stated that the 35-year-old could show up in Tony Khan's promotion because of the connections he has made.
"He'll probably show up in AEW because of the connections he had, the matches he had, and then you also look at career-wise. Okay, for Ricochet [he might think], 'I've been mid to getting a push, but how much are they really doing with me with all this talent that I have?''' he said.
Over the years, numerous superstars have jumped ship from WWE to AEW. It remains to be seen if the former Speed Champion plans to do the same. Meanwhile, Bobby Lashley and MVP could reunite in a separate promotion once their departure is official.
