Following a brutal attack by Bron Breakker on RAW, Ricochet has been taken off WWE programming. On Twitter/X, the 35-year-old sent a four-word message to one of his former opponents.
The name in question is current AEW star, Will Ospreay. Ricochet and Ospreay have a long history with one another, having crossed paths during their days in numerous promotions, including New Japan Pro-Wrestling previously.
Ricochet's future with the Stamford-based company is uncertain, as he reportedly refused to renew his contract with the company. On Twitter/X, he responded to a tweet from Ospreay regarding a viral spot that occurred during a wrestling match in Mexico several years ago.
"It was so perfect," wrote Ricochet.

Bill Apter wants to see WWE star Ricochet and Samantha Irvin in TNA
Following Ricochet's recent angle with Bron Breakker, he was taken away in an ambulance and was seemingly written off WWE programming. Samantha Irvin also accompanied her partner but has since returned to weekly television.
Speaking on The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter discussed the rumors surrounding Ricochet and claimed that he and Irvin could appear in TNA. TNA has developed a working relationship with WWE, with several wrestlers, including TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appearing in the Stamford-based company. Apter said:
"You know what I would like to see. He owns the name Ricochet. Yes, he does own it... What I am saying is, by the time this airs, something may have happened already. But what if this turns into an elaborate angle, where they (Ricochet and Samantha Irvin) are gonna go to TNA."
Earlier this year, Ricochet became the inaugural Speed Champion before dropping the title to the newly crowned champion, Andrade. During his time in the company, Ricochet also held the United States Championship, Intercontinental Championship, and the NXT North American Championship. It remains to be seen what the future has in store for the 35-year-old.
