Jey Uso won the first singles title of his WWE career on the latest episode of RAW as he defeated Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. The wrestling world is celebrating the former Bloodline member's grand milestone and his father, Rikishi, also joined in the celebrations as he reacted to Jey's huge win with a post on social media.
Jey Uso, who has been a tag team competitor for the majority of his pro wrestling career, left The Bloodline and SmackDown last year after getting betrayed by his tag team partner and brother, Jimmy Uso. The Yeet Master moved over to RAW and established himself as a singles wrestler. After multiple unsuccessful attempts at clinching the World Heavyweight Championship and the Intercontinental Championship, the 39-year-old star finally fulfilled his dream of winning a singles title on RAW this week when he defeated Bron Breakker to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Rikishi was disappointed with WWE's booking of Jey Uso a few months back
Despite being majorly over with fans, it took Jey Uso a long time to win singles gold. The former Bloodline member was left treading water for some time a few months back which did not sit well with Rikishi. The WWE Hall of Famer was also disappointed with the company teasing a romantic angle between Rhea Ripley and Jey.
"SummerSlam, where's (Jey Uso) at? I don't know, let's write him in that he likes Mami. Mami? That's the best that those writers got? Let's write this guy into a relationship with Mami? What are you trying to do; break his marriage up? Y'all can't put him in a good storyline, so what you gonna do now? God forbid you guys try to tell him, or tell her, 'Tongue ki** each other on RAW.' Sh**. That better not happen," Rikishi said.
However, the WWE legend now seems on board with the romantic storyline between his son and Rhea as he sent a message to Mami after Jey's win. Ripley was also elated with The Yeet Master's huge accomplishment on RAW.
