WWE legend Rikishi recently opened up about his son, Jey Uso, failing to win the 2024 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match and revealed what he texted him following his loss. The Yeet Master was among the favorites to become the new Mr. Money in the Bank at last week's premium live event.

However, as the case has been with him in big matches, Jey Uso fell short, with Drew McIntyre unhooking the briefcase. As expected, Main Event Jey Uso's fans were left disappointed with the outcome as it would have brought him one step closer to winning the coveted World Heavyweight Championship.

Rikishi discussed his son's heartbreaking loss on the latest episode of his RIKISHI FATU OFF THE TOP podcast. The Samoan Stinker revealed that he texted Jey Uso after the match and urged him to keep giving it his best despite the setbacks.

"So, I just texted my boy (Jey Uso), 'Hey, good match, keep working hard. I didn't want him to tell anything else because he's probably feeling it and I'm da*n sure feeling it," Rikishi said. [19:52 - 20:05]

What the future has in store for The Yeet Master remains to be seen.

Rikishi does not want to join The Bloodline in WWE

In a previous episode of his RIKISHI FATU OFF THE TOP podcast, Rikishi opened up about why he was not keen on joining The Bloodline as a replacement for Paul Heyman. The WWE Hall of Famer explained that he was enjoying the time he spent with his family away from wrestling and that he did not want to be a part of a grueling schedule again.

"People ask would I be interested (in returning as The Wiseman). Yeah, I guess. It makes sense. Is the scheduling gonna be (a problem), cause I don't wanna hit the road, and that would probably be the only reason why I would probably decline. There's so much to my life now than professional wrestling. My time is my time now, the second part of my life is to spend time to visit my kids, my grandkids, and it's just nice when I show up to the boys' homes," Rikishi said.

While there is no doubt fans would love Rikishi to join The Bloodline in WWE, it is understandable why he wanted to devote most of his time to his family.
