The wrestling world was shaken when WWE announced the loss of Hall of Famers Afa and Roman Reigns' father, Sika, just within the span of two months. Afa and Sika elevated tag team wrestling and paved the way for their descendants to make a name for themselves in the industry.

Roman Reigns' father, Sika, passed away in June 2024, while Afa made his way to heaven in August. The wrestling world lost one of the greatest tag teams of all time, and Rikishi has now addressed the same.

On a recent episode of his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi said the Anoa'i family was still mourning the loss of Afa and Sika. Not only that, but the 58-year-old added that his body and mind were numb in a heartwarming update.

"We all know about my uncle Afa, you know, it was a big blow back-to-back for our family. We lost Uncle Sika a few months ago, and then to lose Uncle Afa, we're still mourning. I got this news right after we left the reunion, and my body's numb right now, my mind's numb. We lost the fathers of this dynasty that started it all for us, giving us an opportunity to live the life we live today, and it goes on. I'm still numb," Rikishi said. [2:58 onwards]

Will Jimmy Uso return to reunite with Roman Reigns?

On the same podcast, Rikishi addressed the Bloodline story, Roman Reigns' return at SummerSlam, and the highly anticipated comeback of Jimmy Uso. The latter has been absent from WWE since Solo Sikoa's surprising attack following WrestleMania 40.

Rikishi hinted that Jimmy's return was coming soon and that he needed this time to heal from his injuries.

"Jimmy's doing fine. I think at any given moment, hopefully, Jimmy will be ready to come back to be able to do what he loves. I'm sure he misses the fans and I'm sure you all miss Jimmy. He's doing great. He's got some time to be able to rest the body, rest the mind, and he's ready to go, so, hopefully, we're able to see Jimmy soon," Rikishi said. [9:23 - 9:53]

With the recent developments in the Bloodline story, Jimmy Uso is expected to return and align with Roman Reigns in his war against the Solo Sikoa-led group.

Fans also expect Jey Uso and Sami Zayn to make their way to SmackDown and reunite with Roman Reigns to take down the villainous Bloodline. Time will tell what happens when the former tag team champion makes his return on the blue brand.
