A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE
On the latest episode of his Fatu off the Top podcast, the WWE legend revealed that though his son was focused on football and education at the moment, he did have an interest in the wrestling business.
"I want, and I know he does, he wants to become a millionaire before moving into NFL, and with the opportunities that are out there with NIL and stuff for college kids, I said, 'Dude, this is an opportunity given to you.' So he sounds like he has a little bit of interest, and if in case the day comes, I’m gonna have no worries because he’s been around this business since he was five. Be it wrestling or be it sports, he’s gonna go far in life," said Rikishi. (H/T - Fightful Wrestling)
Rikishi gives important advice to Jacob Fatu
In the same podcast, Rikishi shared a few words of wisdom for his nephew, Jacob Fatu, whose stock has been rising with every passing week in WWE. The former IC Champion urged Fatu to be grateful for every moment in the Stamford-based promotion and asked him to always perform to the best of his abilities.
"At the end of the day, is you know your purpose and your purpose is there as you're a performer, you're an entertainer for the WWE. Go out there and give the best that you can every night. And don't take one night for granted that tomorrow can be gone. Embrace and say thank you to those that really has helped you during the time of your journey into this professional wrestling world," said Rikishi.
Going by his presentation as an unbeatable monster on TV, Jacob Fatu seems destined for main-event success in WWE in the long run.
