Roman Reigns is rumored to make his return this Saturday at SummerSlam in Cleveland. However, a former WWE employee believes Reigns will not be alone.
While Reigns went on hiatus following his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, Solo Sikoa led a coup within The Bloodline, assuming control of the group and eliminating Paul Heyman, and Jimmy Uso. The former Enforcer recruited Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. Almost shockingly to many fans, Sikoa claimed Reigns would have to acknowledge him as his new Tribal Chief upon his comeback. While that seems unlikely, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci claimed The Head of the Table would return at SummerSlam to confront his cousin.
Speaking on The Last Word podcast, Carlucci stated that it is beyond question that Reigns is returning this Saturday. While the former employee is unsure whether Jey and Jimmy Uso would be by The Head of the Table's side, he pointed out that the 39-year-old's Wiseman will return alongside him:
"I think it's gonna be sometime during the match. And I wanna say Jimmy and Jey but I'm a little hesitant on the Jey part of it. I wanna say Jimmy is gonna come with him and I know The Wiseman. And it may by just Roman and The Wiseman. So, that music is gonna hit and just for the effect of listening to that crowd pop and not seeing this guy in three months. And we all know he left the heel but Solo's made him a babyface right now. [...] Whatever's gonna happen, he's gonna be a part of SummerSlam. There's no way he's not showing up, Coach," he said. When will Roman Reigns return at WWE SummerSlam?
During the same podcast, Tommy Carlucci also predicted the potential scenario of Roman Reigns' comeback. He claimed it would not happen at the end of the premium live event, as many expect.
Instead, the former employee claimed The Head of the Table would return during Solo Sikoa's Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes:
"I think he's [Roman Reigns] showing up, Coach. I definitely think he's showing up. Yeah, I think he's coming full-blade. I think it's gonna be during the match, the Solo/Cody match, somehow that music's gonna f***ing hit and it's just gonna drive the place nuts. And he's gonna come down and whatever happens after that is gonna happen. But, I don't think it's gonna be at the end of the show because I think the show's gonna be pretty long. I think it's gonna be a long show," he said.
Former WWE host Matt Camp believes fans would probably witness Reigns or The Rock's return at SummerSlam if the company booked Rhodes' match against Sikoa as the main event. He claimed nothing could follow that. It would be interesting to see if his and Carlucci's predictions will come true.
