Sam Roberts believes Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu is a possibility for WWE WrestleMania 41
WWE analyst Sam Roberts discussed the idea of a potential match between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
While speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Roberts suggested that Fatu would be a formidable opponent for Reigns if The Rock was not available for WrestleMania 41.
"It's interesting that you could easily put together an amazing WrestleMania without The Rock, which is incredible. The idea of building Jacob Fatu over the next five months. And your Roman Reigns' match is Roman vs. Jacob at WrestleMania [41]. It's incredibly realistic," Sam Roberts said.
After losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, Reigns returned during the main event of the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event. He cost Solo Sikoa his chance to dethrone Rhodes as the top champion.
This led to a huge tag team match at the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event, with Roman teaming up with Cody to defeat the team of Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. During the match's closing moments, the returning Jimmy Uso prevented The Bloodline from interfering in the bout.
Post-match, The Rock made his blockbuster return and had a staredown with Reigns, Rhodes, and Jimmy.
