Roman Reigns recently turned babyface upon his return to WWE after nearly four months of absence. Meanwhile, WWE analyst Sam Roberts thinks the company turning massive superstar heel in a match against The Original Tribal Chief must not happen for a significant reason.
The superstar in question is none other than Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare squared off against Reigns in two consecutive WrestleMania main events. Although he lost the first, the 39-year-old defeated The Original Tribal Chief in the second to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Many now believe the two would eventually clash again. On the latest episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, a fan wondered whether Rhodes should enter the potential match against Reigns as the heel. Analyst Sam Roberts dismissed the idea.
The 40-year-old WWE personality explained that the match should be a babyface versus babyface, claiming that Rhodes being the heel would hurt Reigns' character.

"Cody versus Roman is a babyface/babyface match. Cody turning heel in the Roman match, it would take away from Roman as a babyface. It would kinda make Roman kinda cheesy. Cody would start being a cool heel. It doesn't work for me at all," he said. [58:11 - 58:26]
Roman Reigns must prove one thing before challenging Cody Rhodes, according to the WWE Analyst
On the same episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts addressed the timing of the potential third match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. The Original Tribal Chief is currently feuding with Solo Sikoa over the leadership of The Bloodline.
The 40-year-old claimed Reigns could go after The American Nightmare's championship after retrieving the Ula Fala and his position in The Bloodline from Solo Sikoa.
"You have plenty of time to keep Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes well separated and tell completely different, completely spectacular stories with both. Because eventually, Roman Reigns gets that Ula Fala back. And once he has the Ula Fala and once he is The Tribal Chief, the only other thing he's missing is the Undisputed WWE Championship. But before he goes after the championship, he wants to make sure that everybody knows he's The Tribal Chief," he said.
Rhodes will defend his title against Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin. It will be interesting to see whether The American Nightmare can hold on to the championship until his expected showdown against Reigns.
