WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi disclosed that a real-life Bloodline member is preparing himself for a potential move to WWE. The Hall of Famer claimed that that wrestler had undergone a physical transformation.
The in-ring competitor in question is Lance Anoa'i. The 32-year-old is currently active on the Independent circuit. Although he never signed a contract with WWE, he previously participated in two tryouts. He competed in two matches on SmackDown and RAW, losing his second to Shane McMahon on the red brand in 2019. His cousin, Roman Reigns, even saved him from a post-match attack by McMahon and Drew McIntyre.
On his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi recalled recently meeting Anoa'i at a family gathering. He pointed out that the former MLW World Tag Team Champion looked good after undergoing a body transformation. He claimed Anoa'i is preparing himself for a potential return to WWE television as he realizes there is an opportunity with The Bloodline storyline going on:
"Lance is chiseled down now. You know, I seen him in Thanksgiving there in Atlanta at my son's place. He looks good. He looks like he's dedicated, like he's got his mind focused now, you know, because he sees the picture. There could be an opportunity for these guys to jump right on in into the storyline. You don't have to start from the bottom. You're just going to come in and boom, you're right there with The Bloodline," he said.
Rikishi thinks another family member is ready to join WWE
On his Off The Top podcast, Riksihi claimed his son, Thamiko Fatu, and Umaga's son, Zilla Fatu, were still not ready to join the Stamford-based promotion. Meanwhile, he claimed another family member was.
The Hall of Famer stated that Jacob Fatu's brother, Journey Fatu, has all the qualities to become a superstar, including the psychology and passion for the business. He added that the 28-year-old independent wrestler is a "hard and safe worker":
"Journey can get away with, Journey can adapt. He's a WWE material right now, you know. But Journey doesn't look like the rest of us. Journey has his own look, right? So, I would think if they do decide to pick up Journey Fatu, which is Jacob's brother, his younger brother, you know, Journey's psychology is to the roof, so A on that. You know, Journey is not a liability, A on that. He's a hard worker, A on that. He has passion about the business, A on that. He's a safe worker, A+ on that. And he gets it, psychology-wise, you know, A++ on that," he said.
Since Solo Sikoa took over The Bloodline in Roman Reigns' absence, he has added Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to the faction. It would be interesting to see if he would bring in Jacob's brother.
