Roman Reigns' father Sika Anoa'i passes away aged 79

It was revealed earlier today that the father of Roman Reigns and the Wild Samoans member has passed away at the age of 79.

As of writing, there have been no details surrounding his passing released publicly, but his nephew Jahrus Anoa'i took to Instagram to reveal the news.

Anoa'i has recently risen to fame a second time as a member of the original Bloodline outside of WWE and even made an appearance to celebrate with his son Roman Reigns on WWE TV back at Hell in a Cell in 2020.

Sika became a household name throughout the 1970s alongside his brother Afa and was known as the Wild Samoans, Afa himself has made headlines over the past few weeks because of his ill health.

Afa underwent back surgery followed by heart surgery a few weeks ago and the most recent updates were positive as he made his way back home from the hospital following the procedures. Sika's passing has come as a huge shock to the WWE Universe as one of the most loved legends and a Hall of Famer in his own right.
