WWE Hall of Famer and one-half of The Wild Samoans, Sika Anoa'i, passed away at the age of 79. He was best known for his run in a tag team with his brother.

The professional wrestling world mourned Sika's death, including Bloodline family members. Sika's son and current WWE Superstar Roman Reigns took to social media to send a heartfelt message.

"My family and I thank everyone for the outpouring of support in the name of my father, Pola'ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i, who will forever be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team. My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the foundation he built for us. There’s no way to fill the void left by his passing but my sisters and I will do our best to represent him and his legacy. Rest in Power, Dad. We love you," wrote Reigns.

Reigns' cousin and former Bloodline stablemate Jey Uso also shared a message for his late uncle.

"I HAD TO... ONE TIME FOR UNK. RIP," wrote Jey Uso.

The current on-screen leader of The Bloodline Solo Sikoa, and the current NXT GM Ava also paid tribute to the legend:

Many other members of the Anoa'i like Lance Anoa'i, Sean Maluta, and Zilla Fatu took to social media to send their also sent messages honoring Roman Reigns' late father.

Here is what Lance wrote in a story he shared on Instagram.

"Love you Uncle Sika," wrote Lance.

Zilla Fatu, the son of late WWE legend Umaga, also paid tribute to Sika Anoa'i.

"REST IN POWER UNK LONG LIVE SIKA #ANOAIFATUSTRONG," Fatu wrote.

Former WWE star and Anoa'i family member, Sean Maluta, shared a photo with Sika and paid homage to the legend on X (formerly Twitter).

The Bloodline recently got a new addition to its lineup onscreen

Roman Reigns has not been seen on WWE TV since he dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. In The Tribal Chief's absence, Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline.

In his first order of business, the new Tribal Chief kicked Jimmy Uso out and added the vicious Tama Tonga to the stable. Not long after, Tonga Loa made his WWE debut at Backlash: France and helped the new Bloodline defeat Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.

Last Friday on SmackDown, Sikoa locked horns with Cody Rhodes in the main event. The match ended via DQ after Tama and Loa interfered. Owens and Orton were quick to come out to save Rhodes. However, just as it looked like things were under the babyface trio's control, Jacob Fatu turned the tide.

The Samoan Werewolf made his long-awaited WWE debut and took out Orton, Owens, and Rhodes with ease. Fatu seems like the most vicious member of the new Bloodline and only time will tell what's next for the stable after Roman Reigns returns.

Sportskeeda Wrestling sends its condolences to the Anoa'i family after the passing of Sika Anoa'i.
