Roman Reigns was on the receiving end of another beatdown at the hands of the Bloodline. Nobody came out to save him.
The Bloodline storyline has taken a massive turn ever since Roman Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes. Since then, Solo Sikoa has taken over the group and has been calling himself The Tribal Chief.
This didn't make Reigns happy and when he returned at SummerSlam, he went straight for Solo Sikoa and attacked him again, thereby costing him the Undisputed WWE Title in a match against Cody Rhodes. However, Roman was outnumbered in the following weeks, which resulted in him teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cody. Together, they teamed up at WWE Bad Blood against Solo and Jacob Fatu.
During this match, Jimmy Uso made his return as well and helped Roman and Cody win the match. Despite having his brother by his side again, Reigns was still outnumbered in his battle against the new Bloodline. Jimmy Uso tried to convince Jey Uso to rejoin their group but he rejected them.

Tonight on SmackDown, Roman confronted Solo in the ring. Solo asked him to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief. But while he acknowledged Solo, Roman refused to acknowledge him as The Tribal Chief. As a result, the rest of The Bloodline dragged Jimmy's bruised body out to the entrance ramp.
Solo and Roman brawled for a bit but eventually, the numbers proved too much and The Bloodline brutalized Roman Reigns once again. Solo hit Roman with two Samoan Spikes in the ring and left him gasping for air. Although Jey Uso was backstage for SmackDown, he didn't come out to help his brothers.
The Bloodline is growing more powerful with each passing week. They also clearly have the numbers advantage in their favor.
