Roman Reigns' reaction to a top WWE Superstar's big character change earlier this year has been revealed. WWE shared Reigns' response to The Rock's heel turn in the latest WrestleMania XL: Behind The Curtain documentary.
The Rock was livid after Cody Rhodes took his WrestleMania XL main event spot during the WrestleMania XL Kickoff Show. The Great One turned heel and joined Reigns' Bloodline on an episode of WWE SmackDown. He had turned heel for the first time in years.
The Rock's heel turn was received quite well by the WWE Universe. The Final Boss character immediately became a hot topic of conversation among fans. In the WrestleMania XL: Behind The Curtain documentary, Roman Reigns was seen sharing his views on the big heel turn:
"This character transition that I think not only Dwayne, but we're all kinda in. You see us kinda filling out the boundaries, you feel us kinda seeing what kinda space and maneuverability we have with this new dynamic. The man is powerful. You gotta have chops to be able to do this sh*t." [34:05-34:23]

Roman Reigns was still The Tribal Chief following The Rock's heel turn
At one point following The Rock's heel turn, it seemed like the veteran was overshadowing Reigns. On an episode of WWE SmackDown, Reigns demanded The Rock acknowledge him as The Tribal Chief. A tense staredown followed, after which The Rock acknowledged Reigns as The Tribal Chief.
At WrestleMania XL Night One, The Rock and Roman Reigns took on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in what many believed to be the biggest tag team encounter of all time. The Rock pinned Rhodes, thus making sure that the main event of Night Two would be a chaotic affair. Rhodes still managed to dethrone Reigns and win his first world title.
