Roman Reigns could receive unexpected help from top WWE star vs. The Bloodline, says veteran, and it's not Brock Lesnar

Solo Sikoa has led a coup against Roman Reigns and took over The Bloodline in the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion's absence. A wrestling veteran now thinks the 39-year-old could receive help from an unexpected superstar upon his comeback to fight Sikoa's group.

The surprising superstar in question is Cody Rhodes. The Undisputed WWE Champion had a heated feud with Reigns before ending the latter's historic title reign at WrestleMania XL. On the Busted Open podcast, wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer claimed The American Nightmare could join forces with his former rival when the latter returns to have a potential feud with The Bloodline.

The ECW legend claimed Rhodes should successfully defend his title against Sikoa, get beaten up by The Bloodline afterwards, then Reigns surprisingly returns:

"If I'm looking at the future, I'm looking at we're gonna have a Solo versus Cody Rhodes match. It should be a good match. I'd keep the title on Cody because The Bloodline is [inaudible] for Roman's return. I probably would have Cody win, have Cody get his a** kicked, and then hit Roman Reigns' music at Survivor Series, and here comes Roman Reigns," he said.

Dreamer also pointed out that while The American Nightmare could move on to a feud with Randy Orton if that scenario happens, he could also join forces with the Head of the Table:

"And woo because one feud is now kinda over and, you know, and what we've wanted everything with Roman and The Bloodline to happen. Then I could move on to Randy and Cody or, I mean, also think about Roman needing the help of a Cody Rhodes. And Randy could be like, 'Hey, don't trust this guy.' That could be a thing." Could Brock Lesnar return to WWE to align with Roman Reigns against The Bloodline?

While Tommy Dreamer suggested that Cody Rhodes could help Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa's Bloodline, wrestling veteran Magnum T.A. believes Brock Lesnar would return to join forces with the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion to avenge his former advocate Paul Heyman.

While The Beast Incarnate has been absent from WWE since his defeat to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam last year, The Bloodline took out Heyman a few weeks ago on SmackDown after the latter refused to acknowledge Sikoa as his Tribal Chief:

"I think The Beast Incarnate is gonna come back. And I think him and Roman Reigns are gonna stomp a mud hole from here to Kalamazoo and back with all them boys. It's gonna be good. [...] I think him and Brock are gonna come back and stomp everybody in sight that's, you know, done the whole deal. Brock Lesnar, I think Brock Lesnar is gonna come back to help defend Paul Heyman against those dastardly guys," he said.

Solo Sikoa is expected to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam. It would be interesting to see if Roman Reigns will return at The Biggest Party of the Summer to confront his cousin.
